我時常從網路上觀看各式影像，⽽在這之中總會有某些影像特別吸引我，像是：意外、暴⼒事件與天災⼈禍等。我認為這些影像帶來的負⾯氣質，彷彿在對觀者訴說⽇常的脆弱與不堪；同時，當螢幕中的景象超出可預判的經驗後，現實與虛構的界線也變得模糊和曖昧。
那些經由社群媒體傳遞的影像，⼀⽅⾯使我們驚嘆螢幕中宛如電影的荒謬事件，另⼀⽅⾯也將他者的經驗轉化為觀者的內在感知；影像在此如同連結現實與虛構的薄膜，進⽽使觀者抽離當下，製造幻景。
因此，我從網路蒐集了近期我所關注的事件素材，經由加⼯與後製，將⽀離破碎的片段組裝成⼀個新的現場。我像是在替去頭去尾的事件腦補上我所想像的前後脈絡，同時也在空間中擬仿出⼀個新的敘事、新的故事。
《⼀段現場的呈現》以近期社群媒體上的影像作為發展，試圖透過影像裝置在空間中搭建出⼀個擬仿的現場，討論媒體影像在當今所傳遞的真實性問題。
I often browse through various images online, and certain ones, like those depicting accidents, acts of violence, and natural or man-made disasters, particularly capture my attention. I believe the negative atmosphere they convey speaks to the fragility and vulnerability of everyday life. At the same time, when the scenes on screen go beyond my predictable experiences, the boundary between reality and fiction becomes blurred and ambiguous.
Images shared on social media make us marvel at absurd, movie-like events while also transforming the experiences of others into our own internal perceptions. In this sense, an image acts like a thin membrane connecting reality and fiction, pulling the viewer out of the present moment and creating a kind of illusion.
Therefore, I have collected material from recent events that caught my attention online. Through editing and post-production, I’ve assembled these fragmented clips into a new “scene." It’s as if I’m filling in the missing context—the beginning and end—of these events with my own imagined narratives. In the process, I construct a new story and a new narrative within the exhibition space.
The Presentation of a Scene develops from recent social media imagery. It is an attempt to use an image-based installation to create a simulated scene within the space, exploring the issue of truth and authenticity conveyed by media images today.
