「扮公伙仔 pān-kong-hué-á」即臺語的「扮家家酒」之意，是孩童模仿成人日常家庭活動的角色扮演遊戲。藉由與遊戲夥伴的互動練習融入團體生活；角色扮演則幫助同理心的養成。扮家家酒遊戲訓練著成人被期待所具備的社交能力，然而現實中的家庭生活不若遊戲般可以隨意暫停或結束，人們無法輕易卸下在家庭中所擔任的角色，與家族成員間糾纏的情感也不能在遊戲中被模擬。
將對家族的情感記憶做成作品，它們是娃娃屋或人偶等能供賞玩的物件，被安置在設定好的角色中重複既定的運作。同時也希望能以較詼諧的方式去談論，把家族事件當成「扮公伙仔」去遊戲其間。
“扮公伙仔 (pān-kong-hué-á)," is Taiwanese for “playing house." It’s a role-playing game where children imitate daily adult family life. Through interaction with playmates, they practice social integration and develop empathy by taking on different roles. This game trains the social skills expected of adults.
However, real family life isn’t a game that can be easily paused or ended. People can’t simply shed their family roles, and the complex, entangled emotions between family members cannot be simulated in a game.
The artist transforms emotional memories of family into works that resemble dollhouses or figurines. These objects are placed in predetermined roles, repeating a set of fixed operations. The exhibition aims to discuss these family events in a more lighthearted way, treating them as a game of “pān-kong-hué-á" to be played.
